St. Louis always has a lot of diverse events going on. It’s a city rich with culture, foodies, and so many looking to make the city even better. This weekend you can expect culture, festivals, and more to satisfy all the food and beer lovers, concert-goers, and anxious eclipse viewers.
Downtown Restaurant Week (8/14-8/20) $25 or $35pp
What a perfect way to try out any restaurant you’ve been curious about or to get a deal on one that you already favor! Restaurant week happens all over the St. Louis areas, and this week it’s continuing downtown. The participating restaurants will give you a 3-course dinner menu for $25pp or $35pp (plus tax and tip). BrewFest 2017 (8/19 – 1-5pm) $30 or VIP $50
The 4th Annual BrewFest is happening on Saturday at the Budweiser Brewhouse Beer Garden. There will be live brewing demos, homebrew samples, live music, a beer competition, and of course, Clydesdales! There are different ticket options starting at $30. Potato Day 5K & 10K (8/19 – 1pm) $13-$27
Did you have any idea that National Potato Day is on August 19th?! There really is a day for everything! This appears to be a very friendly, flexible, and trusting race, where you choose your course, report your time, and get medals and a bib shipped to you no matter where you finish. This would be a great family race, just don’t forget to treat yourself to some fries afterwards! 15% of the ticket proceeds will benefit Heifer International. Find tickets here Potato Day 5K and 10K.
The Rise Up Festival (8/19 – 2pm) FREE
This annual one-day festival concentrates its efforts on the revitalization efforts in St. Louis. You will find local food, art, microbrews, and music that showcases some of the unique talents and offerings of St. Louis. Find out what’s happening here Rise Up Festival.
Date Night Under the Stars (10pm 7-10pm) $10
You are patiently awaiting The Great American Solar Eclipse, so join others with a date night under the stars of the James S. McDonnell Planetarium to learn all about it! St. Louis World’s Fare (8/18-8/20) FREE
Back for a 4th year, this year’s World Fare Festival will feature Restaurant Row, Music on the Main Stage, 1904 World’s Fair Historic Exhibit, Kid’s Island, and so much more!
