Jump to RecipeThanksgiving is only a two days away! That seems crazy. This year, like most, has flown by. I have so many posts I want to share with you before the big day. Or should we really say the big week? Because there’s pre-thanksgiving prep, which means all kinds of eating and drinking in anticipation. Then comes the big day with baggy pants ready to expand with every slice of pie. And of course, the fun part for all of us who love a whole lazy holiday weekend of eating and drinking, the leftovers!
In our family and extended family we have a few diabetics, who sometimes bring their own sugar free treats or desserts to the festivities. I am sure most of you can relate to this, whether you are the host or the one who needs or opts for low sugar treats.
I was really excited when Steviva contacted me with the opportunity to create a recipe for their blogger challenge. They sent me a bag of their Steviva blend, and I created this two part recipe.
This post lets you in on how to make a low sugar pumpkin spice simple syrup, or liquid gold, as I like to call it! Then you can go on to use this incredible syrup in holiday drinks like the following low sugar pumpkin spice old fashioned.

Steviva Blend
Steviva blend is a health conscious blend of stevia and erythritol. While this blend is like table sugar, it is ideal for those that are on a low carb plan. This is free of carbs and calories, and has no glycemic impact. To use this blend, you simply use half the amount of granulated sugar since it is twice as sweet.
