Layered Berry Cheesecake Dessert

Layered Berry Cheesecake Dessert has macerated berries with cheesecake mousse and butter cake to give a layered, festive dessert, perfect for summer!

Ingredients

  • 1 pint strawberries sliced
  • 1 pint blueberries
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (or cool whip) whipped
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • juice of 1 large lemon
  • 2 tab sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Place strawberries and blueberries in separate bowl. Toss each with 1 tablespoon of sugar and 2 tsp. of lemon juice. Set aside to macerate.

    In a large bowl,, use a hand mixer to whisk cream cheese with remaining sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Then, fold in whipped cream.

    Layer your trifle cups: strawberries then cake then cheesecake mousse then blueberries.

    Allow to chill for 30 minutes to set the no-bake cheesecake.

Recipe Notes

You can leave out the cake for a cheesecake mousse and berry dessert.

For a trifle, add in chunks of butter or angel food cake.
