  • 1 teaspoon corn starch
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips Or White chocolate
  • 1 cup pecan pieces

Instructions

  1. Use stand mixer with paddle attachment.

Cream the butter until pale. Then add sugar and cream until fluffy.

Add in eggs and vanilla and cream a couple more minutes.

In a separate bowl, whisk your dark chocolate cocoa powder, flour, salt, baking powder, and cornstarch.

Then turn your mixer to "stir" and add in the dry ingredients to your mixer slowly.

Add your semi sweet chips to balance out the dark chocolate, along with pecans if using. Note that you can also swap out the Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips for White Chocolate Chips or Milk Chocolate Chips.

    CHILL dough for 24-48 hours.

Then preheat oven to 365 degrees. Position oven to 2nd rack. Use a large or medium scoop to scoop dough onto a cookie sheet. Then press on some extra chocolate chips. Bake for 11-13 minutes.

Then let cookies sit on cookie sheet for at least 5 minutes.

Recipe Notes

Swap out the semi-sweet chocolate chips for milk or white chips.

Enjoy with a cold glass of milk, almond milk, coconut milk, red wine, whatever else goes perfectly with the most chocolatey cookies ever!

Pecans are optional but highly recommended!
