Indulgent, fudgy, chocolate brownies swirled with natural peanut butter and a sprinkle of sea salt.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9 inch square baking pan with parchment.
Use a large microwave safe bowl. Slice butter into tablespoons and place inside. Break up chocolate into small chunks and put in bowl.
Microwave for 30 seconds. Stir. Then repeat. When stirring, start in the center and gently stir in an outward motion, until smooth.
Add sugars and whisk for a couple of minutes.
Then add eggs and vanilla and whisk until smooth, another couple of minutes.
Add the flour and cocoa powder and salt and mix to a smooth batter. If using chocolate chips, fold them in. Pour into 9 inch baking dish.
In a small bowl, add peanut butter and microwave for 30 seconds. Stir to smooth. Then drop spoonfuls on top of brownie batter. Use a knife or skewer To swirl. Sprinkle a touch of flaky sea salt.
Bake 23 - 27 minutes, until set around edges and a bit wobbly in center. Cool 45-60 minutes.
Swap PB for tahini or almond butter, if desired.
*use natural peanut butter. If using unsweetened, add a tablespoon of confectioners sugar.
