Buttery, crunchy, caramelized candy brittle with macadamia nuts.
In a medium saucepan set over medium heat, combine the corn syrup, water, and sugar. Stir to dissolve. Then let the mixture turn golden brown, stirring occasionally.
Add chopped macadamia nuts. Stir frequently and the mixture will turn deep brown.
Remove from heat and add baking soda and butter. Stir until incorporated.
Then spread over a silpat or butttered parchment paper set on a baking sheet.
Cool completely and then break into pieces.
