Bruschettini
As a blogger, it’s always a fun challenge when I am given a product along with a chance to be creative with a dish. Asturi Foods contacted me with an opportunity to come up with a way to showcase their savory and snackable Bruschettini. They sent me a few flavors and a box full of mini toasts to try. Jackpot for this bread lover!
Of course the girls and I were excited to have these tiny and flavorful mini toasts to snack on while I brainstormed! Their top selling mini toasts include these Garlic & Parsley flavor of Bruschettini as well as Bruschettini CLASSICO. These snack sized toasts are made of all natural ingredients like high quality olive oil, garlic, and parsley. They are baked in Italy and free of preservatives and artificial flavors.
When we first crunched on the Garlic & Parsley Bruschettini, I noticed how much flavor is packed into these little bites while not having any of that fake coating or flavor that can be present in flavored snacks. These are natural flavors of herbaceous parsley and a hint of roasted garlic with olive oil. The CLASSICO is toasty and rich with authentic olive oil and sea salt.
The flavors of this toast inspired me to think of a vegetable forward appetizer that would be enhanced by the rich olive oil and garlic & parsley flavor found in the toasts. This creamy spinach kale dip also contains garlic and parsley to make it the ideal bite of texture, flavors, and tasty satisfaction when topping the toasts.
What I love about the texture of the bruschettini is that it is crunchy but also a bit airy and lighter than I expected. These little toasts are tasty on their own, but of course are the perfect toasts to accompany and showcase a hearty appetizer like my Creamy Spinach Kale Dip. When I make dips during holidays like Thanksgiving or for Game Day, I make textured and full dips made for the crunch and natural flavor of tiny toasts like these Bruschettinis.
